@mcv23 – sorry you had such a terrible experience. Some of us are big cooks and love to chop our own garlic, but we all had great luck with this little chopper – and I’m one of those who appreciates the time savings and less mess of the zoom. Wonder if your zoom could be defective. Have you tried returning it?

I take it you wash the bladed part in soapy water VERY CAREFULLY, and not in the dishwasher?
