Another video hands-on with the Android based Sony Ericsson X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro smartphones today from Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, and this time from the guys over at phone dog . The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini and Mini Pro hands-on video delivers almost six minutes of coverage and gets down to a walkthrough with the Sony Ericsson Android smartphones once the reviewer lets us know just how amazed he is at the actual size of the handsets. Mini with the Sony Ericsson X10, means just that, mini, not big, not small but tiny and packing the Android operating system, the whole thing kind of gets the phone dog reviewer all excited to begin with

Samsung i7500 Galaxy not gaining Android 2x update Rumour at MWC

There have been rumours that the Samsung i7500 Galaxy smartphone currently running Android 1.5 would eventually see an upgrade to Android 2.0 or even Android 2.1, but alas apparently according to an article over on the::unwired , this is not to be. The word is, although presently unofficial and unconfirmed that during Mobile World Congress 2010 is the Samsung i7500 Galaxy will not be gaining the Android update

Google is apologising after criticism that Buzz invades user privacy – but there are some important lessons to learn It’s been a torrid week for Google Buzz, the activity stream system that was added to Gmail but has since been heavily criticised for invading people’s privacy . While the company’s chief, Eric Schmidt, tries to woo the phone industry at Mobile World Congress , the Buzz team have been scrabbling to get back on the front foot.

Puma phone solar-powered handset arrives

The much-rumoured Puma/Sagem Puma Phone has finally been officially announced at Mobile World Congress, and it’s a sporty little beauty with added solar power. As you’d expect, there’s a whole suite of sporting applications including a pedometer, GPS tracker and stopwatch, so that you can track and compare your training sessions. There’s more sport-minded stylings including a one-handed “thumbable” screen and a solar panel that’ll let you get juice from the sun while you’re out and about.
